Things to do in Sao Paolo

4 things you can do in Sao Paulo

Hey, what’s up? Welcome to our 10th episode in which we are going to speak about  4 things to do in Sao Paulo!

Usually when people think of coming to Brazil for sightseeing, their favorite destinations are Rio de Janeiro and the beaches of the northeastern region of this country.  I don’t blame them! These places are really fantastic!  But I was wondering: Sao Paulo is the biggest city of Latin America and a lot of people come here on business. Isn’t there any place where people can go to relax and have fun?  And the answer is “of course there is”!  I mean, “of course there are many places to go! There are many things to do in Sao Paulo ”!

Sao Paulo is a city where people enjoy themselves a lot by going to shows, libraries, bars and parks. So it was very difficult, but I had to choose only 4 places to speak of.

You already know that in this podcast, as I talk about the places, I will add some Brazilian Portuguese terms so you can further improve your vocabulary.

Specifically in this episode, I am going to talk about the Ibirapuera  park , Gregorian Chants of the Monastery of St. Benedict, samba school courts and 25 of March street.

While you’re listening about these places,  I am going to explain the meaning of Brazilian Portuguese expressions such as:

  • De quebra
  • Em casa de ferreiro, o espeto é de pau
  • Som da voz grave
  • And a lot of other expressions that you can learn if you become a member of this website
